What About Our Fragrances?

Here at Shiplap+Sage, we were determined to find fragrances that were clean - for our families and for yours.  We searched high and low, and we found a fragrance partner who has carefully tested over 600 fragrance revisions to eliminate the carcinogens, mutagens, reproductive toxins, and other hazard groups that are typically found in traditional fragrances.  

So They're Safer...But Do They Smell Good?

But wait!  There’s more!  We found that the fragrances from this partner also smell amazing! This is one of the most difficult parts of the entire process, since some of the toxic ingredients are also the ingredients that allow these fragrances to initially smell so good. (But can also cause headaches and other allergic reactions from chemical exposure.)

Our goal is simple: we want our customers to enjoy our amazing candles and fragrance products, confident that they are safe for their families. Why? Because our families use these candles too.
